Open folders to move deeper, then use each surface's navigation control to move back.
Move through your folders
Open a folder to view its files and subfolders. My Library is separate from folders and does not have a parent folder.
On Web
Use the left arrow in the folder header to move up one level.
Use the breadcrumb trail to jump to an earlier folder. Choose My Library to leave the folder.
In deeply nested folders, the four most recent locations stay visible. Use the overflow menu to reach earlier locations.
On iPhone
Use Back to return to the previous location. iPhone does not show a breadcrumb trail.
If you open a folder from a location or link, Back follows the folder sequence that opened it.
In a shared folder
A shared folder view starts at the shared folder. You can open its subfolders, but cannot navigate to folders above that shared root.
On Web, the breadcrumb trail is limited to the shared folder and its subfolders.
On iPhone, use Back within nested shared folders. At the shared folder's root, use Close to leave the shared-folder view.
When you open a share link
A share link opens at the shared folder's root. You can open its subfolders, but not folders above it.
A password-protected link asks for its password. Disabled or deleted links are unavailable.
On iPhone, a Web link to a nested shared folder opens at the shared folder's root.
Troubleshooting
If Back or breadcrumbs do not lead where expected, return to My Library and reopen the folder. Share links start at the shared folder's root.
