Move files and folders to keep a project, release, or client collection together.

Move one or more items

Select the files or folders you want to relocate, choose Move, then choose the destination. You can move one item or a selection of items together.

Choose a destination

The destination picker starts at the My Library root view. From there, you can move an item to the root or into any folder you can edit.

When the destination already has the same name

A move keeps both items. Traklist adds a number to the moved item's name, such as song (1).wav or Folder (1). Nothing is overwritten.

Drag to move

• On Web and iPhone, you can drag a file or folder onto another folder to move it. You can also drag a selected group.

• On iPhone, a drag move offers Undo immediately afterward.

Access and availability

• You can move items only within your own library.

• On iPhone, failed uploads and items received through a shared link cannot be moved.

Troubleshooting

If a move fails, confirm the item and destination are both in your own library, then try again.
