Add or change folder artwork

Add or change folder artwork

Choose an image to make an owned folder easier to recognize.

Change folder artwork

  • Folder artwork is the visual cover for a folder. It does not change artwork on the files inside it.

  • You can change artwork only for folders you own. My Library does not have artwork.

On Web

  • Open an owned folder, then click its artwork in the header or Details panel.

  • Choose an image from your library, crop it to a square, then save.

  • If the folder has custom artwork, choose Remove to return to its default folder artwork.

On iPhone

  • Open an owned online folder and tap its artwork.

  • Choose Photo Library or Take Photo. Move and scale the image in the square crop, then save.

Use a supported image

  • Use a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image up to 30 MB.

  • Changing or removing folder artwork does not delete the original image from your device.

  • Visitors cannot change folder artwork from a shared link.

Troubleshooting

If artwork will not save, use a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image within 30 MB and confirm that you own the folder.
