Traklist warns you before your storage runs out, then limits what you can do until you are back under your limit.
What counts toward your storage
Everything you own, plus every shared folder you joined.
Joining a folder adds its size to your usage. Leaving it gives that space back.
A folder inside a shared folder you already joined is not counted twice.
The stages
Storage almost full — a warning. Nothing is blocked yet.
Storage full — you have reached your limit and cannot add more.
Grace period — if you go over your limit, you get 14 days before access is reduced. Traklist counts down the days.
Browse-only — when the grace period ends.
What you cannot do during the grace period
Upload, import, or record.
Save a new version, or copy anything into your library.
Join a folder someone shared with you.
Everything else still works during the grace period, including playing your music.
What browse-only means
Playing and previewing stop.
Renaming, moving, editing details, and creating folders stop.
Creating or managing share links, and inviting people, stop.
You can still download your own files, delete things, and leave shared folders.
Files in folders other people shared with you cannot be downloaded until you are back under your limit.
Your files stay safe and stored. Nothing is deleted because you went over.
Get back under your limit
Delete files you no longer need.
Leave a shared folder you no longer need. Traklist tells you which shared folder is using the most space.
On Free, upgrade to Pro for more room.
Access returns once your usage is back under your limit.
Note — Leaving a shared folder only removes it from your library. It does not delete anything for the folder's owner or anyone else in it.
Troubleshooting
If your usage still looks too high after deleting files, check Shared with you in your storage settings — a folder someone shared with you may be the largest part of it. If playback stopped, your grace period has ended; free up space or upgrade, and access returns.
