Show in Location opens a file's parent location and highlights it, so you can quickly see where the file lives. It does not move or change the file.
Reveal a file's location
Choose Show in Location from a file's actions.
If the file is at the My Library root view, Traklist opens that root view. Otherwise it opens the file's parent folder.
After navigating, Traklist scrolls to and highlights the file.
Where you can use it
On Web, Show in Location is available from file actions in Home, Favorites, and Search, as well as the Web player's More menu and an owned file's share-link menu.
It is not shown for folders, or for a file row when you are already browsing its location.
On iPhone, it is available from a file's actions in Home, Favorites, Search, Recently Created, Recently Played, Recordings, Shared, and Offline.
iPhone player shortcut
In the iPhone expanded player, tap the displayed folder name to use Show in Location.
This shortcut is not available on Web, because Web does not have an expanded player.
Troubleshooting
Show in Location is a file-only action. It is not available for folders.
On iPhone, it is unavailable for failed uploads, files received through someone else's shared link, or files without a parent location.
iPhone can use cached folder information while offline. If it cannot load the destination, check your connection and retry.
