The Shared column tells you who can open each item without opening it.

Read the Shared column on Web

• Only you — nobody else can open it.

• Link On — a public link exists and works. Link Off — a public link exists but is disabled.

• 2 People, 5 People, and so on — how many people you invited to that folder.

• A folder can show both, such as 3 People · Link On.

• via this folder means the access comes from a folder further up rather than from this item.

Open access from the column

• Choose the people count to open Who has access.

• Choose a link state to open Share settings for that item.

Show, hide, or sort by it

• Shared is shown by default. Turn it off in Styles like any other column.

• Click the Shared heading to sort by it.

• Use the Shared status filter to list only items you have shared.

Split My Library by ownership

My Library has three views on Web and iPhone.

• All shows everything.

• Mine shows what you own — including folders you have shared with other people, because you are still the owner.

• Shared with me shows only what other people shared with you, where you can also choose Leave.

• A row shared with you shows You and your role on that folder.

Note — The tabs sort by owner, not by sharing. Mine and Shared with me ask who owns an item. The Shared column describes sharing you set up, and the Shared filter is wider still — it finds sharing in either direction.

Troubleshooting

The Shared column is a Web feature; on iPhone, use Shared with me and the Shared filter instead. If the column is not visible on Web, widen the window or turn it on in Styles. If a count looks wrong, open Who has access — people who have not answered yet are still counted while their invitation is pending.
