Favorites are private markers for your account. Use them to keep important files and folders close at hand without moving them.

Add one item to Favorites

• On Web, click the star on a file or folder to add it to Favorites. You can use the same control in your library, inside a folder, or in search results.

• On iPhone, open the item's actions and tap the star.

Add several items to Favorites

• Select the files or folders you want, then choose Add to Favorites.

• On Web, use the selection bar. On iPhone, enter selection mode and choose Add to Favorites from More.

• You can add a mix of eligible files and folders at once.

Find your Favorites

• On Web, open Favorites from the navigation.

• On iPhone, open Favorites from the bottom navigation bar.

• Both destinations can contain files and folders. Your normal sort and view choices apply there.

Remove an item from Favorites

• Click or tap the filled star on an individual item, or select several items and choose Remove from Favorites.

• Removing a Favorite does not delete, move, or unshare the original item.

Availability and access

• Favorites are personal to your account and do not appear on public share pages.

• You can change favorite status only for items in your own library.

• On iPhone, you cannot change Favorites for failed uploads, content from another person's shared link, or items in Offline. Favorite changes are not queued for later.

Troubleshooting

If a favorite does not update, check whether the item is a failed upload, shared-link item, or Offline item on iPhone. Refresh Favorites after the change if the item does not appear.
