Switch and sync tracks in Compare

Once your files are ready, switch between them without losing your place.

Switch the active track

After your files are ready, choose a comparison tab on Web. On iPhone, tap File A or File B. The tracks stay aligned at the same moment in playback.

Use Web keyboard shortcuts

When the focus is not in a text field, press a number key on the top number row or numeric keypad to select the matching Compare slot:

  • 1 — selects File A

  • 2 — selects File B

  • 3 — selects File C (Pro)

  • 4 — selects File D (Pro)

If a slot is empty, its number opens the file picker.

Keep the comparison in sync

Scrub either file's waveform to move every file to the same timestamp. On Web, Traklist also corrects playback drift as you listen. On iPhone, File A and File B use one shared playback timeline.

Note — Adding or replacing a file restarts Compare at 0:00. Add your final versions before you begin a close listening test.
