Compare works with audio files only. The number of files you can compare depends on the platform and your plan.

Compare in the web app

Select the audio files, then choose Compare.

• Free: Exactly two audio files

• Pro: Two, three, or four audio files

Folders and non-audio files can’t be compared.

Compare in the iPhone app

Select exactly two playable audio files, then choose Compare. The limit is two files on both Free and Pro.

Compare from a folder someone shared with you

• Audio in a folder shared with you can go into Compare like any other audio you can play, whatever your role.

• That is different from a public shared link opened in a browser, which is covered above.

Compare files from a shared link in the iPhone app

In the Traklist app for iPhone, open a shared-folder link, select exactly two playable audio files, and choose Compare.

Visitors can also compare files after opening a shared-folder link in the iPhone app, even without a Traklist account.

Once Compare starts, the two files are fixed. You can switch between them, but you can’t add or replace either file.

Public shared links in a web browser

Compare isn’t available when a public shared link is opened in a web browser. To compare files from a shared folder, open the link in the Traklist app for iPhone.
