Start Compare with the audio files you want to judge against one another.
Start a comparison
Compare uses audio files only.
Web — Select at least two audio files in your library, then choose Compare. Free supports two files; Pro supports up to four.
iPhone — Select exactly two audio files, then choose Compare.
Add a file from the player
Web — In the player, choose Compare and select an empty slot, then choose an audio file. You can also drag a playable audio file onto the player to start Compare with the file that is currently playing. File C and File D are Pro slots.
iPhone — In the expanded player, choose Compare and select a second audio file. You can also press and hold an audio file, then drag it onto the mini player.
Replace a file
Web — Select the slot you want to change, then choose another audio file. You can also drag an audio file onto a Compare slot.
iPhone — Tap File A or File B to select it, then use the add button to choose its replacement.
Tip — Get your comparison set ready before you start listening. Adding or replacing a file stops playback and returns it to the beginning, so it can interrupt the moment you are judging.
Exit Compare
Compare does not have an individual Remove action. Exit Compare to return File A to normal playback.
On iPhone, select exactly two playable audio files in a shared folder to start Compare. After it starts, you cannot add or replace files. Public shared links on Web do not offer Compare.
Note — Public shared links on Web do not offer Compare.
Troubleshooting
If Compare will not start, select playable audio files and check the slot limits for your surface. Shared-folder Compare on iPhone fixes its two files once it starts.
