Use the player controls to move through the queue or seek within the current track.
Start or pause playback
Use Play/Pause to start, pause, or resume an audio file. On Web, the player stays at the bottom of the window. On iPhone, Play/Pause is in the mini player. Tap the mini player or swipe up to open the expanded player.
Move through what plays next
Starting playback from a folder, visible list, or an iPhone Home row makes a queue from the playable audio there. The queue follows where you started; it is not a separate list you can view or edit.
In the wide Web player, Previous and Next move backward or forward through the queue. If you use Previous more than one second into a track, it starts that track again.
On iPhone, Previous restarts the current track after seven seconds; before then, it goes to the previous track. Next goes to the next track.
Seek with the waveform
On Web and in the expanded iPhone player, click, tap, or drag along the waveform to seek. On Web, the waveform can show Loading while it becomes ready. On iPhone, use the simple progress bar to seek when a waveform is not available.
Tip — In the mini player, press and hold the track title, then drag horizontally to scrub. Release to jump to that moment.
Use keyboard shortcuts on Web
When the focus is not in a text field, these shortcuts work in Web, including public share links:
Space — Play/Pause
Up Arrow — Previous track
Down Arrow — Next track
Left Arrow — Back 15 seconds
Right Arrow — Forward 15 seconds
Controls in a shared link
A single-file shared link has Back 15, Play/Pause, Forward 15, and Repeat. It does not have Shuffle or track Previous and Next controls.
A shared-folder link has a playable queue with Shuffle, Previous, Play/Pause, Next, and Repeat.
Troubleshooting
If playback does not move as expected, start from the intended folder or list, then use the waveform or progress bar. Shared links expose a smaller control set.
