Traklist exposes a Start Record action so you can enter the recording flow without opening Traklist and navigating first.

Use Siri or Shortcuts

Say "Start recording in Traklist" to Siri, or run the Start Record app shortcut from Shortcuts. Traklist opens directly to the recording flow with recording requested.

Use Control Center

You can also add the Start Record control from the Control Center control gallery. Tap it when you want to jump into a new recording without first opening Traklist.

Check permission before you need it

The shortcut still needs microphone permission. If recording does not begin, open Traklist, confirm microphone access in iPhone Settings, then run Start Record again.
