Disable, reset, or delete a share link

Disable, reset, or delete a share link

Choose the action that matches what you need to do with the link.

Disable a link temporarily

In Share settings, disable the share link, then choose Disable when asked. The current URL and its share settings stay in place. Re-enable the share link to restore access using the same URL.

Reset a link to create a new URL

Click or tap Reset Link, then choose Reset. Traklist creates a new URL and disables the old one. The link's access, download, audio-only, and password settings carry over, while its views, plays, and downloads start over.

Delete a link

Choose Delete Link, then choose Delete. The URL stops working immediately and the link is removed from the item.

Undo a recent deletion

On Web, choose Undo within five seconds. On iPhone, choose Undo within 15 seconds. After the prompt expires, the deletion is permanent and you cannot recover the link.

Troubleshooting

If a link is unavailable, check whether it was disabled, reset, or deleted. Re-enable a disabled share link to restore the same URL. A reset URL stays unavailable; share the new URL instead. After a deletion's Undo prompt expires, create a new share link.
