Download or save from a shared link

The available actions depend on the link's settings.

Use the available actions

In a shared folder, every file and folder row has a menu at the right edge, on desktop and on mobile. The menu is always visible, so you do not need to hover to find it. Open it to see the item's name along with the actions the link allows.

Download on Web

When Download appears in a row's menu, use it to download that file or folder to your device. You do not need a Traklist account to download.

Save a copy to your Traklist library

Save copies shared content into a folder you choose in your own Traklist library. Save appears in the menu only when you are signed in, so sign in first if you do not see it.

Save or download on iPhone

On iPhone shared links, Save and Download appear when available. If you are not signed in, Traklist asks you to sign in, then continues the action you chose.

If you do not see an action

The share link's settings control which actions Traklist shows. If a row's menu shows only item details, such as file size and file type, the link is view-only and downloads are turned off.

Troubleshooting

If Download or Save is missing, ask the person who shared it to review the link settings, and confirm that you are signed in when you need Save.
