Use BPM when you want to compare or isolate audio by tempo.
Use BPM to narrow audio
A BPM filter changes which audio files are shown. It does not change your current sort order.
The range includes both endpoints: a range of 120 to 128 includes files at 120 BPM and 128 BPM.
Find the BPM filter
On Web, BPM is available in Filters for My Library, an owned folder, and Search.
On iPhone, BPM is available in Filter for My Library and an opened folder. Choose Items, then Audio, to reveal it. The iPhone Search tab does not include BPM filtering.
Choose a BPM range
On Web, choose Exact for one BPM value or Range for a lower and upper value. Enter values directly; the histogram or slider helps you choose available tempos.
On iPhone, use the two-handle range slider. It works in whole BPM steps and does not offer Exact, a histogram, or direct number entry.
Use one endpoint when you only need a minimum or maximum BPM on Web.
Apply or reset your choice
On Web, results preview as you adjust the range. Use the main filter action to apply the result; Clear removes only BPM, while Clear All removes every filter selection.
On iPhone, move at least one end of the range, then choose Apply. Choose Reset to restore the full available BPM range.
Troubleshooting
If no files appear, reset BPM and try a wider range.
