Why is my upload stuck or still processing?

Uploading and processing are separate stages, and each requires a different response.

Find the stage before taking action

A file is first uploaded to Traklist, then processed. A finished upload does not mean every file result, including audio analysis, is ready yet.

If the file says Processing

  • Do not upload the same file again while the existing file still says Processing.

  • Processing does not have a guaranteed completion time. If it remains unchanged after an extended period, note the file details for support.

If the upload failed

  • Choose the original, accessible file again. A file that was moved, deleted, unreadable, or empty cannot upload successfully.

  • Confirm the original extension against the supported-file reference. Renaming a file does not change its type.

  • Check available Traklist storage and make sure the file is no larger than 5 GB.

When to contact support

If the same file repeatedly fails after these checks, include its filename, original extension, surface, and approximate time of the attempt.
