Upload with the iPhone Share Sheet

The iOS Share Sheet gets a supported file from Files, or any app that can share one, into your library without opening Traklist first.

Before you share

  • Sign in to Traklist before using the Share Sheet.

  • The source app must provide a shareable file. Traklist may not appear in every app's Share Sheet.

  • You can share more than one file at once.

  • Each file must be 5 GB or smaller, and your account needs enough storage remaining. Free includes 2 GB; Pro includes 3 TB.

Share files to Traklist

  1. In Files, or another app that provides a shareable file, select one or more files.

  2. Tap the system Share button.

  3. Choose Traklist. The Upload Files screen opens so you can choose a destination.

Choose a destination

  • My Library is selected by default. To upload to a folder instead, open it or search for it, then choose Upload.

  • To create a new folder, choose Create Folder, enter a name, and choose Create. The new folder becomes the destination.

What happens after Upload

Choosing Upload prepares the supported files, opens Traklist, and adds them to the destination. It does not mean the cloud upload has finished.

  • Traklist opens My Library when that was selected; otherwise it opens the chosen folder.

  • Files first appear as local queued items, then continue through the normal upload flow.

  • The visible states are Queued, a percentage with Uploading, Processing, and Sync Failed. Normal file details replace the status once the upload completes.

Note — Keep Traklist open long enough for the files to appear and begin syncing. See Understand uploading, importing, and processing statuses for the complete state reference.

Multiple and unsupported files

  • The Share Sheet checks each attachment on its own. Supported, accessible files continue even when another selected file is not usable.

  • Unsupported files, folders and folder-style packages, inaccessible files, and files larger than 5 GB are skipped. Traklist does not show a skipped list or a skipped count.

  • If no usable file remains, Traklist shows Unable to access files and asks you to share the file again from Files.

  • Share individual files, or compress a folder or package as a .zip before sharing it.

Troubleshooting

  • If Traklist cannot load folders, open Traklist, sign in, and wait for My Library to load, then try again.

  • If the Share Sheet cannot prepare files, choose Try Again, or share the files again from Files. Every Share Sheet error screen includes Close and Try Again.

  • If you see Open Traklist to finish, open Traklist manually. Pending shared files are picked up when Traklist opens.

  • If a shared file does not appear, open Traklist and wait for My Library to load, then retry from the Share Sheet.

  • While a file uploads, its action menu has Export and Cancel. A failed item offers Retry beside Sync Failed and in its action menu, along with Export and Delete.

  • Cancelling shows Upload cancelled. The Share Sheet does not provide Cancel All or an upload-history screen.
