How project files work

  • Traklist stores and organizes DAW project files, but does not play or preview the contents of a DAW session. Download the file and open it in its original DAW to continue working.

  • The audio player and audio-only processing features apply to audio files, not project files.

Upload a complete project

  • A project can rely on external samples, media, or plugins. To make a restorable backup, upload the complete project folder or use your DAW's collected or exported package.

  • On Web, you can upload a project folder and preserve its folder hierarchy.

  • On iPhone, compress a folder-style project package into a .zip file before uploading. Traklist stores the .zip as an archive, not as a project file.

Limits to know

  • A single file can be up to 5 GB.

  • Your project files must fit in your available Traklist storage. Free includes 2 GB; Pro includes 3 TB.
