Totals measure activity volume, while unique metrics estimate how many people or devices contributed to it.
Read totals and unique activity
Totals count activity. Unique metrics identify a signed-in person when available, otherwise a device. Your own activity is not included in your Insights.
Understand the core totals
Views — Times the shared item was viewed.
Plays — Times audio playback was tracked.
Downloads — Times a download was tracked.
Live Visitors — People or devices with tracked activity in the last five minutes.
Read the rates and ratios
Click-to-Play Rate is the share-link views that led to at least one play. Average Completion is the average portion of tracked play sessions completed, capped at 100%. Plays per Download is total plays divided by total downloads; it does not mean a download caused the plays.
Know the file-type boundary
Individual audio files can show Plays, Click-to-Play Rate, and Plays per Download. Non-audio individual files hide the audio-only measures. Folders can show audio activity across the content included in their report.
Why a play may not appear
A very brief playback start can be discarded before Traklist records it. Insight values may also refresh at different times on Web and in the iPhone app.
